Thanks Alice! We're coding it in Actionscript, so yes! It will be available for all platforms. Hoorah for the wonders of cross-platformed programming! Actually, I'm using OS X myself, and my coder is using Vista, so it just makes things a lot easier.

Of course we'll have a mirror, so there most definitely will be a version up for download. But first we need to get this thing done! Pathfinding is proving WAY harder than anticipated, by we should be done with that this week... the onto the HUD!

How is your pathfinding being done? can things jump? do the dudes have jetpacks? is the physics step fairly predictable? Would this help?

Looks cool, but have you considered making the scrolling diagonal? I think that would be like... even more retroish.

At least I hope not

Jwaap@ Yeah, I just watched all of their stuff. Super duper inspiring, that is. Do you think it's more 'rip-off' than homage? Thanks Authentic! Yeah, a video WOULD be nice... do you know of any good, free, video-recording programs that work on Mac? Hey, Jared, how did you spend your Saturday evening?

Hey, Jared, how did you spend your Saturday evening? since im on a windows pc im only experienced in recording software for windows... but i did a little research and think that these screen recorders for mac could be good (i havent tested them personally but they were recommended in different forum threads) ->all are commercial products ranging from 20$ to 99$ ->all offer a free trial version Camtasia for Machttp://www.techsmith.com/camtasiamac/SnapzProXhttp://www.ambrosiasw.com/utilities/snapzprox/ScreenFlowhttp://www.telestream.net/screen-flow/overview.htmiShowUhttp://store.shinywhitebox.com/index.htmli also found this site that lists many different screen recorders http://www.pure-mac.com/screen.htmlon this site i found also these 2 screen recorders which are freeware but dont record any sound. Yes, this is very inspired by Patapon. I love the Japanstudio games, Loco-roco being my favorite. This project isn't dead yet! There have just been a lot of football games and girlfriends(not mine:C) and drawing and school! I swear! Dynamic text boxes are totally in.

It's not going to die, I won't let it die.
