I'd like to suggest using the clouds for something. They're so obviously different from other things people have seen that it'd be easy to make a gameplay mechanic out of them.

Also, everything is amazing except the character sprite. I dunno, he seems kind of.. dead, in comparison to the shiny, detailed-ness of everything. I'd really like to see him more, well, detailed. =p

Serene is right. He looks more like placeholder art (and maybe he is?) than a finished character in that stark, sharpen-filter'd world. Completely out of place.

Looks superb! Though it's a bit weird that the - What they are called - Horizontal things in the ladders aren't the same distance from each other. (Uh oh, that was grammatically SO wrong. Blame me.)

The concentric squares on the blocks, block variation, selective grass, flat swirly clouds, and a few other things all seem to be heavily inspired by Fez. Tongue

To be fair I think it's the way in which the style is used, I don't believe the swirly style ever belonged to Fez in the first place.

That looks stylish. Except for character sprite, which does not fit well with the rest.

Judging from the title, this should be fun.

Looks lovely! Although, I have to echo the sentiments about the readability of the main character's face.

Seriously, everything is brilliant except for the character sprite. It's just.. so flat.

Big improvement on the character!  Hand Thumbs Up Left Smiley

I get the whole intentional misplacing of the ladder rungs thing, but I think it might look better to have an additional ladder sprite with the top rung moved up so that you have some rungs in groups of three, some in two, and some in four.
