Between now and then, here and there. An intersection of being.

I played and really liked the LD30 game, it's really cool to see you expanding on it!

@Daniel Thanks! did you play the original during the LD30, or did you mean just now? what colors do you all think look best? Maybe I'll just randomize it

Maybe you could have it slowly hue shifting based on how close you are to winning?

I prefer the last but as Canned Turkey states some kind of variation to provide a visual cue on progression would work well.

hmm, yeah, true. Guess that would make the most sense. Probably start with the bluish-gray one, then transition to the orangey one, then to dark purple. That would cover the three overarching areas I have in mind

That sounds like a perfect compromise! Excited to see more of the area design filter through!

Looks really lovely! It would be interesting to see the colours on the static blocks change too to mirror the sky but it might be a little confusing.

(edit, get ready for some images) hmm, I'll see if I can find an unlit shader with tint options. Unity's particle shaders have tinting but they're all see through as well: (damn, that looks pretty cool actually) Edit: found some shaders, here's the result of my testing(think the last one turned out the best): Another Edit: made it dynamic and looks pretty awesome, but how much tint is too much tint? Oh, and I heard about this thing called bloom:

New art asset, almost complete, just need some bubbles floating in it note the different color scheme; this will appear in the mid section of the game

I recorded a little video of my friend playing; it went really well! He found a game-breaking mistake I had made in one level, and also got stuck on one level but kept playing until he beat it(10 minutes later). He wouldn't let me show him how to do it either. I suspect this is going to become some kind of rage platformer.
