Thanks for the good word!! lol I get that a lot.. probably from the coloring I will say haha Can there be options? The new one is leaner and sleeker - some might prefer the blockier model? If it's one or the other, I'd definitely say the new one.
Hmm that might be something I will consider... More like different skins for characters haha

Hi, the enemy ingame looks good. So many pixled frames need dedication. If you want some criticism however, I don't get why the guard carries the spear in one hand when approaching a fight. The same goes for changing back into the standing position with the upright spear in one hand. I think it would look more natural if the guard hefts the spear in both hands during combat, never standing to attention in a ceremonial position. Nerdalert. Keep up the good work!

06/16 Update: Archer, range enemy, and alert state New enemy! Archer with range attack and also new state for enemies in general. Essentially, when enemy sees you it will transfer from idle state to alert state. Let me know your thoughts!

Really intrigued by your approach to the storytelling. Are you planning to deliver all story through gameplay sequences (flashbacks?) Will there be NPCs or characters other than the player that speak?

Hey thanks for the interest! So basically there will be two different story line, one in the past where you can't do anything except for simply viewing and one in the current time where you can sort of react to it. And yes for the current timeline it is still a living world with people you can talk to..

06/16 Update: Alert state It's been a while... Finally got the ladder climbing and added some gravity damage to the game, it's tricky and a pain in the ass, but I think it will add a great flavor to the game. Also man I was stuck in collision checking hell for so long.. Anyways, here's an alert state transition yay

07/07 Update: Hit stun effect Long overdue... Finally give it a hit lag effect to get that "oomph" feeling when you hit an enemy. Right now it's exaggerated since I am still testing it but it will get adjusted!

This has far too many things I like in a game to list them all so for now I'll just say: Hyped! The only thing I have in the way of feedback at this point would be the animation on that spear wielding enemy. It seems as though the knees are placed a little far down the legs, giving a long thighs and short shins sort of look. That being said it does give it a unique style and the animation as a whole is looking nice and fluid, it's probably just me! Keep up the good work
