This is my second game and second contest entry. In this game, you play an elephant in a thimble. The thimble acts as a cockpit that you look through. You are a small elephant so you can stick your trunk through it but you can't get out. It is a "hypertext fiction" made in Powerpoint, with photos to illustrate the story.

The idea originated from a misheard sentence. My friend was talking about how "a thimbleful of a neutron star weighs as much as 6 million elephants" and another friend misheard this as "a thimble full of elephants".

I'm almost finished writing it. After that I'll need to take the pictures to accompany the text and show the cockpit.

Okay, I need a bit of help. Can someone draw an "Eternal Gentleman"? Not pixelled, but actually drawn, either by hand or with a tablet. It should basically be a godly gentleman with an aura around him. It is the one missing element required in my game. Thanks in advance to anybody willing to draw it.

For the fun of it I started drawing a Gentleman.  It's getting late, so I might have to finish it some other time.

That is amazing. Thanks so much. If you decide you want to work on it a bit more, could you put an aura or something around him? It's fine either way.

I thank thee profusely, my good sir. I am delighted with your most wonderful painting of the quintessential British gentleman. Gentleman

I just realized that the poor gentleman has no ears. Was that intentional? It looks great, but the lack of ears is a bit weird.

I just finished all the writing, so next I'm going to work on the accompanying pictures. I've made a tin foil elephant's trunk to use when taking the photos. Basically I'll hold the elephant trunk up to my nose and put it through a fence, and then hold the camera over my eyes and take the photo through the fence to simulate a thimble. I'll place objects on the other side of the fence. It's somewhat complicated, but it should work.

Here's a screenshot of the game in slide sorter view so you can get a general feel by looking at the headings:

I was getting a little bored, so I figured I'd just finish him up as quickly as I could.  He has no ears, vest buttons, or armpits simply because I didn't feel like putting in much extra time.  I know, I'm lazy!  Roll Eyes  Anyhow, if it makes you feel better you could imagine his ears simply don't stick out much and are obscured by the light ... or make up some other explanation that makes you happy.  I may eventually get around to fixing up this picture, but not any time too soon.

Also, I like to cut my tea with a knife.

I think I'll go to bed now.  Please ignore whatever I might have said.

Sure. I'll just treat it as a stylistic choice... :D
(I actually kind of like the bottle-shaped nature of his head, and I don't care about armpits)

I just took a shitload of pictures for the game. I'm going to have to do a bunch of editing now, but here's a sample photo:

Okay, I think it's done. Be prepared for horrible picture quality and badly edited-in monocles. Gentleman
