@Geti: Thanks. And true. I was more concerned with the topology of the face at the time. Will likely go in and try and make it look closer to the concept when I'm working on details. Edit: Update:

InkBot, lookin' good! I'm looking forward to seeing it textured. Great job on the hands especially! I made an ant for a scene I'm working on. While doing this, I wasn't sure if I want my ants walking on all 6 legs like regular ants or standing up. One of the greatest things with 3d modeling imo is a model can be posed in almost anyway once it's got a skeleton, so I took my ant that I modeled to be like a regular ant, and posed it to be standing up. I'll do some real texturing tomorrow, depending on how difficult it'll be to unwrap this. I have a pretty good idea of how I'll go about it though...

Textured- textured, rigged, and in the intended scene at the moment. Also made some more stuff: Tree, and fallen twigs... Next, bushes to go around the tree, sidewalk around the tree, and some more general background décor. Saturator, that's neat! Nice colors, and I like the grainy kind of filter/effect thing you go going on. The upside down fellow has me curious... Oh an also, Markham I don't know why this wasn't in my last post, but that goat is stylish! You translated the design very well into 3d.

Playing around in blender last night, shrine between two rock monoliths in a grassy field or something. All blender, even postp. Environment lighting is doing a lot of the work, haha.

Change the extension to .gif, not .gifv. GIFV is a fake "format" imgur made because they wanted to look innovative or something

They switched to WebM to save on bandwidth usage, actually, which is a very good reason (but yeah, there was no reason for the new extension other than to indicate that it originated from a GIF).

You can't img tag video files though, it requires HTML5 video tag (or a Flash fallback) to display them. DEREEEEEK!

They're so sexy! You better be making a game with these. Even just an interactive art demo thing. I love the specular/slime look in the first gif.

I don't know why I think that. regardless, it captures the techno-ghost of the playstation games, so I really want to play

Work on my Myst-like has been proceeding rather satisfactorily :D yet, I still don't have a title. The observatory world- "the window to the stars." I'm planning on having a more elaborate puzzle here, involving using the telescope to move planets around and perhaps visiting the surface of the worlds... something like this: But like... with stuff on it. :x
