That last gif raises so many questions:

Is that a noose hanging from the ceiling that you can throw dudes into?

I that Oro's head on the walls as decoration?

That a molotov cocktail?

At the risk of promising things I can't deliver, yes to all of those.

Also just got finished programming my super clunky pause menu.

Seconded! That pause menu represents the whole "TV" concept wonderfully.

Using slight white noise to highlight each selection is brilliant. Keep it up!

Thanks everyone!

I've been working on some new areas and brushing up edge cases for the pause menu. I'm slowly getting through the first act of the game, so with any luck I'll have all those levels done in a month or so. Then I just need to fill in the cutscenes and I'll have the first chunk of the game complete.

Also here's a dancing gif.

Oh man, this game looks great. I can't wait for it to come out.

I would love if after every act or level, it shows that dancing gif with all the bodies of the enemies you've defeated. Haha.

I've been pretty bad at keeping up with the updates, mostly because I'm trying to keep a lot of things a secret!

Here's a little too-late-for-halloween gif though.

Very interesting game. What do you use to render the world? Tile maps?

I somehow missed this one! The gameplay looks super gratifying, and the soundtrack is absolutely perfect.

The aesthetic of the game is brilliant. How do the special moves play out? Is it more like a fighting game or more like a metroidvania where you activate a skill?
