Caravel's entering DROD: The City Beneath 3.1.  The game was actually released back in April, but since then a number of bugs were uncovered unfortunately, so we're still working on that 3.1 patch.  Looking pretty solid now, though.

I'm only... sorta crunching. Tommy's taken on all the coding - not that i'm totally useless as a coder, but tommy is >so< much better that I'm more hindrance than help. Over the last month or so, while I've been all  Cry with depression, he's practically re-written the entire engine, including game modes. I guess we have to call everything I coded "prototype work" Smiley. Still my design, though.

So all I'm doing is preparing design stuff for after IGF submission - lots of particle effects prototyped in flash which tommy will then implement. When we submit to the IGF we'll also be submitting to MS.

I, too, am crunching through the weekend in some vain attempt at getting into the IGF.  I'll probably end up releasing the IGF build into the feedback section sometime later, given the release build should change significantly from what we have now.  We'll see, though.

Got our submission in (OokiBloks). Four solid crunch days and now I'm back in the real world.  We had to cut a few things but I'm happy with what we've put up.

The IGF, man... ya gotta love it!  Who here is planning on attending the event itself?  If you are, you can crash at my place!

How many manwiches would fit in Derek's apartment I wonder.

Once you run out of horizontal space, you have to start stacking.

If we are lucky enough to get nominated in anything we would also love to borrow a couple of couches Smiley Maybe somebody is interested in taking onboard three crazy Swedish game designers, eh?  Grin

What is this? Crashing (at Derek's) for IGF -thread?

Actually I'm planning on attending the actual event regardless of how my game does (I just don't know where I'll cough up the money for the trip). A couch for couple of days would be totally awesome. But with this many developers already crashing at Derek's place I don't know whats the point of attending the congress at all  Grin

Once Derek's place is full, the rest of us should look at splitting a hotel rooms or something. Smiley
