linkle (female link) is basically nintendo's bayonneta ...
Nintendo had Samus Aran breaking molds and teasing swimsuits long before Bayonetta ever hit the market (Hint, she likes fast guys and gals). Linkle isn't going to do anything Bayonetta-like that Samus hasn't already done, and Samus has already been backing away from the hot pants at the end of Zero Mission, which was pretty much a high (low?) point for her sexualization. The guns (crossbows) and kicks are superficial and have nothing to do with the reason Bayonetta is popular, which is non-stop sexual innuendo and ridiculous action sequences.
Nintendo's never going to get close to that in a first-party title, let alone their most popular series. It'd poison the wide age range that plays Zelda games.
no metroid fed force too
I wonder if the performance of Triforce Heroes is going to influence Federation Force (both are 3DS spinoffs of major properties with heavy online presence). The game got okay reviews at release, but it's suffering already because replay value is extremely low and the single player is terrible. I was having trouble finding a team to play with on Sunday night, and it was clear the guys I eventually teamed up with had already unlocked everything and were just replaying challenges for something to do.
Nintendo may need to put more thought into how they handle matchmaking rooms, and make sure they put a lot more effort into balancing the PvP.
SSMB4 Cloud
I wonder if this is going to lead into something more, like Nintendo Final Fantasy titles on Virtual Console, or Square releasing a WiiU RPG (or even just cross platform release for FF15).
