CG character those days have pass the uncanny valley, but they are stuck into a new problem, mannerism. Like wow I can see the pore of the face and all the details, that's "realistic", (enter the human actor not cg) wait I can't see his pore, the details are bland and he is badly integrated ... what a time when real elements are the odd one, hyperrealism is distorting appreciation. CG still has some work to do on "weight" animator don't do enough they looks like flimsy weightless doll toss around a scene, even puppet sfx was better than that.

I have begun the task of de-cluttering my site, which means hammering Wordpress into working correctly for 5 minutes while I copy all of my old articles to my hard drive and delete them from public view.
Once it's all burnt down, I can do something with the ashes.

I used to love programming for the Gameboy Colour. I remember I was making an Atoms clone for a homebrew game competition run by Bung (purveyor of the finest flashcarts back in the day), but I got stuck with some dumb bug I couldn't get rid of. I wonder if the source code is on one of my ancient backup cds. |
