Hey,

I'm working on a card game which uses a minimalist neon synthwave-inspired style. I intend to commission an artist to draw 176 100x136px cards. Here's a sample. It roughly represents the style and level of detail I expect.

How much do you reckon this will cost me?

It mostly depends on how long each card takes to draw. if an artist were to work 20$/hour and each card took say, 2 hours including sketches and iterations on the design then each would cost 40$ up front.

im picking 2 hours completely arbitrarily here. that card looks like it could be an hour of work at most?

Thanks for the answer. I'd like to hear some more estimates before I actually start contacting artists.
I've procured (read: begged my sister, who is an industrial designer by trade and so can sketch quite well, to draw) a few more samples.

Edit: The links were broken. Sorry! They're fixed now.
