Pretty entries so far! That's definitely more than "half passable" art, JWK! Hand Thumbs Up Right Hand Thumbs Up Right Hand Thumbs Up Right

Here's a GIF to summarise our first day:

And since the GIF ruins the quality, a complimentary PNG:

First time I use procedural generation in LD! Coffee

Oh, happy day. I got the Tiled code I wrote but haven't touched in like six months working with only minor issue. Good... I would have pretty much been screwed otherwise. Big Laff

Everyone's entries are looking great so far. Always fun to see what other people make.

I've finished the start of my intro animation and completed about 7 player movements so far, so we'll see how this all ends up...

Yay, more cool stuff! Always fun to see a lot of people crop up when it actually starts, even if they didn't say they were in beforehand.

So cute, Silkworm!

Is that a beard cropping up at the end, Franklin? o-o

Worked hard from 8:00-16:00 yesterday, then decided I needed a short break. So I sat down in an armchair to listen to the latest episode of 99pi. Apparently I fell asleep 10 minutes into the podcast and woke up 2 hours later. I'm getting older with every LD that passes.

I don't really have any screen shots since I'm doing a text adventure, but I've gotten a first solvable puzzle down. May have a playable, if incomplete, snapshot up later today.

Yeah Prinsessa it's a beard, but not sure if I'm going to keep it as it doesn't really make any sense at the moment.

Always impressed at how different you make each of your entries and congrats on the procedural generation. Something I've always wanted to toy with but haven't had the chance yet.

Have had to take a Psychometric Test for work today as I'm going for a new role and it's taken me 2hrs so I'm starting to fall behind on my entry. Going to be a long night as it's already 10pm here and I still have so much to do.

Starting to come together in a major way, but I might be getting a little too gutsy with so little time left. OH WELL.  Hand Shake Left Big Laff Hand Shake Right

I made a game about getting around a cave as a bat using echolocation.  Sound design is super rushed but I think it at least looks nice.

Not quite done yet. Fortunately I was forward planning enough to take a vacation day.
The game is completable (and spell checked to boot, woho!), yet there are a lot of small tweaking left to be done (icons for all actions, more illustrations, etc.)

This is how far I got by the end of day 2.

Had some issues with PS4 on KoTM; I like the 3D isometric and the sense that you are climbing the mountain, gw!

I hoped to turn a little screen-wrap engine into a game this weekend but got busy & flooded.. to be continued.

Congrats everyone who participated!

An unexpected cancellation resulted in a Sunday off, so I had some fun making Stable Orbit - especially the tunes/sfx which I spent far too much of my time-budget on. I ended up with something that I feel is “finished”-ish... which (for me) is pretty good for an LD!

Jord how was programming your own adventure game engine? Curious about the logic you use under the hood. Echolocation looks cool! (Can't play windows though :/ )

Princessa, Silkworm, links to your games?
