Oh man. It looks like the bar for homemade pants has been raised considerably since the days of Tetris. Alexey's pants were probably just some boxy square things in a simple primary colour. They were probably red, and a little bit too short. I bet he just stitched the front half onto the back half and then everyone said he was a genius.
I'm going to make some retro-pants, only show them to my friends and sulk about how the magic is gone.
