Nuclear Rune

Isometric squad RPG with encounter-based gameplay taking place in closed arenas. Select a squad of up to 4 heroes from a large pool and conquer the battles.

Development started in 2016. The game also has a devlog from earlier stages of development.

Features include:
  • Unlock heroes over time. Total of 12 heroes currently.
  • Use pause or slow-motion to plan your actions.
  • Each hero starts with 1 ability and gains more with levels.
  • Heroes are divided to classes: Warrior, Rogue and Mage.
  • Heroes are upgraded by class, so e.g. all Mages get more stronger at the same time.
  • No story/dialogue for the time being

Encounter types currently include:
  • One or more waves of enemies
  • Escape from death zone (while fighting enemies)

Hey Jbarrios,
thanks for the feedback! Video is great to see how you approach the game, good commentary too.

I agree the fights should be longer. For a start the enemies could be beefed up a bit so they don't explode so easily.
That one encounter ending without any fighting was definitely a bug, I'll look into it.
