TIGJam 2 is on the way! For lack of a better place to do it, we're going to host another one at the Flashbang offices. Painted walls! More desks! Presentations from indie greats! Edit: We're up for October 9-11! http://tigjam.com/

Keep in mind early october is Indiecade time. (1st - 4th) :-/
If I could have my way I'd say sometime haloweenish or even later since these things tend to take awhile to get everyone on the same page travel-wise as well as scheduling around weddings/prior engagements etc.

Weekend of August 28th I'm going camping! Plus, too insanely soon. Plus, isn't it still 1000 degrees in Arizona? So I'm voting for early October. Then again, I ain't got no school to worry about.

How early is early? I will be in Arizona for the first week of October, only I will be rafting down the grand canyon...but it would be pretty easy to jam afterward! My vote is for October

Looking at the weekend starting on Friday, October 9th. We want to leave enough time for IGF crunch afterward...

Either works for me, but Prom will be there if it's in Aug... just submitting that for your consideration.

AUGUST SOUNDS GOOD TO ME
I think my trip may run through that weekend, or at least overlap it partially, and flights to phoenix are cheap from here! So August is definitely cool too

If it was late August and I end up going to Austin GDC, then I might just be able to live in Adam Saltsman's backpack for a few weeks...

I can do either, but October would be a bit less hectic.

I'd really love to go this year. I'd likely have to ditch classes to make it for either date, but it would probably be far easier and less damaging to my grades to ditch in October during the regular school year rather than the last week of my summer class.

Good timing on this. Jeff (progrium) was hitting me up to organize a TIG type event in case you guys weren't going to throw one. We had considered one in August, but it is kind of short notice for everyone. Depending on when in October, I may or may not be able to make it. So, both are equally good...or bad.
Edit: I suppose that there's a distinction between TIGConf and TIGJam, but I would hate to plan a Conf that collides with you guys.

Man, I am lonely here in the heartland. One of these days we need to orchestrate a Hillbilly Jam for TIGSters in the southern parts of the country :D (I wish I still lived in Seattle )

Yeah, I was hoping to host a massive TIGConf/TIGJam, but maybe I'll punt for next year.

Well, now there's additional time to sort out things like venue. We can start planning for next year, mid summer?
