Hi everyone,

after working the last few weeks on this project i can now finally launch the site which is based on the promisingly good freeware games in development thread

here we go
http://www.pixelprospector.com/indev/

i decided to add developer pages where i list some information about the creators of the games...but since i recognized that this takes more time than i have thoght beforehand i haven't added all the developer pages yet.
doing so would have caused a big delay of the launch... therefore i decided to add those pages afterwards in the next few weeks. lets see...

if you as a developer or site visitor should know about any updates it would be nice when you mention them either in the comments or by letting me know otherwise to keep the site up to date - together.

i want to thank all the game developers for making this possible as well as all the indie gamers for contributing and helping  Gentleman

any feedback is welcome. when you have ideas about how to improve the site dont hesitate to speak it out.

here i made also a little

Unbelievable.   Shocked

I never read through the original thread, but I now realize exactly what I was missing.  I have a lot of catching up to do!

EDIT:  Out of curiousity, what will you do when a project is finished?  Put them in another section on the site?

I'd write a devlog about my current game, but I'm too busy making it.

thanks for all the postive feedback!  Beer!
very encouraging to see that the site is well received  Smiley

@aquin
well, this is the next big project im working on.

pixelprospector.com will cover only worthwhile freeware games that are finished.
that site will be a big tribute to freeware gaming.

i think both sites will complement each other pretty well.

no release date yet...but i've already started with the site.

Great site man! I'm glad there's one convenient place now to view all the great looking games that are in development.

Bookmarked!

How exactly do games end up on that site?  Does the developer submit it... or what's going on there?

Because...I might...have something...  Embarrassed

wow i'm impressed. you're really giving it your all to give some promotion to those indie game makers out there. you made a real slick site and definitely have a passion for indie games.

Noir haha gives me some motivation to work on my own game.

Sweet. This should be a great help for developers, as a lot of those "promisingly good looking" games may not be worth a news on TIGSource, but are still very much worth mentioning. A site like this might well greatly increase the popularity of those games Smiley

As there are supposedly tons of promising games hardly anyone knows about, I think there should be a proper simple way to tell you specifically of other projects which are worth adding to your site. Some kind of contact form, that maybe doesn't require more than a nickname and optionally an e-mail adress to be entered, so that noone who might know about a little otherwise unknown game would be scared away Smiley I guess this should also be placed pretty visibly on the site, maybe as some kind of button saying "Know of any promising projects that aren't on the list? Tell us right away!"
