I was once told by a programmer that most coders know perfectly well how to make good art and the fabled 'programmer-art' is only made to look terrible for the very specific purpose of so horrifying the artists that there is zero chance of it not getting replaced before the game ships.

You guys do some nice doodles, so I'd say theory confirmed. I like the alien robot!

I've been known to use that trick
it's excellent. I use the great color combination glColor3f(1,0,1) as well , hehe
