There's a risky surgery, where we can merge the two topics together... there's a small chance it'll work.

I'll start the procedure now.

Congratulations, the operation was a success!

Sweet, I really like those actually.

An artist I found recently is Ian Mcque. His work has a really nice textural quality to it. Also, airships:

I really love Ian Mcque's stuff, but the thing that always bugs me about it, is how do the ships stay afloat? they don't even have propellers or balloons!

Damn, I've never noticed that...and now it's bugging me too  Epileptic

There's something quite...nice...about Sven Nordqvist stuff. I'm not sure how to describe it, but I think it's the that the style makes them feel like drawings from an old fairytale book that you'd read when you were young. The witch on the rock has gotta be my favourite.

Not sure if someone has mentioned Sparth yet, but I'll post some pics.

And my personal favourite of his:

More along the lines of comics I really like Kenneth Rocaforts stuff.

I was thinking about grabbing it with my next paycheck. Does it have a lot of good stuff?

Yeah, I'd highly recommend it. I'd only ever seen his some his more recent work but this book goes quite a ways back. Very good source of inspiration.
