I added a popping animation for the balloons, tidied up a little in the first post and drew a few higher contrast icons and some more really tiny versions of existing ones.

Request: can you do some UI art like cool window borders around boxes? like making the corners and a tiling top, side, bottom, --- so that the UI of a game could match the sprites?

Your work is really really awesome. It's being a kid in a candy store here...

I added a few more crystals and some very basic UI stuff. I hope I'll have time to add a more elaborate design later.

Added scrollbars to the UI as well as some more variations of button icons. Again, really basic stuff, but it's all I have time for today. I also edited the thread in an attempt to keep old images from cluttering up the assembleech, so I hope that works.

Oh, I also made a more convenient zip file with all the images (97 so far).

Hello this is Pencerkoff

I like the portraits.  The idea of making a cut-scene type thing with a moving mouth arouses me.  One request, though, if you could quickly pump out a few more mouth positions.  Something like an "o" usually fits well when animating talking lips.

Good idea. I'm not sure if I'll have time to make complete sets for all of the characters, but I've added what I have so far.




I also added angry expressions for the male portraits.



And some color variations of the jumping mushroom.

@Arachne. if you don't mind, I've arranged the astronaut sprites into a 24x24 grid and added transparency (the background color is still death pink, it should work for those who can't support transparency -- let me know if it doesn't work).

Thanks. Grin I made a sheet for the enemies as well, but then I also decided to move the astronaut down a bit for consistency.




I added transparency to all the images with death pink in them, but I also made a zip with the old versions just in case: arachnestuff-notrans.zip

I hope that helps, and let me know if there's anything else I can do.
