Greetings,
this time I couldn't resist to make a game.

No grpahic making for me. Excellent Cheesy
I hope there will be a game at the end.

I will use SDL and C++ to build a game engine.

My first try will be a sidescroll-shooter.

Current Demo



Controls:
Arrows -> Movment
Space -> Shoot

Projectstart:
17.12.09

Acomplished:
  • Scrolling Background
  • Flying Animated Ninja
  • Enemy Management
  • Collision Detection
  • Shooting
  • Playing Soundeffects and Music

Used Assets:
Used Sounds:
Not realy desided, only temps now

Here is a first demo, there is allready a Happy Ninja and he is flying around forever Wink so the game is done Grin

Mega Popups! I'd highly reccommend you sign up for a free file host like Dropbox.

Looks like this could turn into a very cool SLMUP (slice-em up). Are you going to have parallax scrolling on the background (since it already has seperate layers)?

No, the project is not aborted.

It take me some time to implement the game enginee.
Now I have EnemyManagement, CollisonDetection, Shooting and Sound Cheesy
I hope I get the next three days a bit time between the chrismasparties but I don't think so. Undecided

Christmas is so stressful but also fun Panda

A new demo will hopefully come today.

@jrhill: Funny I first thought about a character riding on a cloud^^ but then I found the ninja with jumping animation^^

@pgil: Okay I will explore Dropbox and probally use it for a new demo.
Parallax Scrolling is a nice idea. Grin I will implement it.
