Sometime ago I managed to increase my gamedev productivity by keeping a list of tasks to be done and then selecting a minimum of 3 each week. Yesterday I switched to Trello, keeping more or less the same system, but its much better, visually and functionally. I now select 3 tasks but one of each category (bug, artistic thing, coding thing). Shot: http://i.imgur.com/YhKkh6U.png

This is looking good!
I am still a bit fuzzy on the details though.
What is the "objective" of this game?

It looks relaxing and altogether interesting.

I am a bit worried that currently there may be too much dissonance between the looks of your menus and the look of your gameplay.

take a look at the updated description, I hope it clarifies a bit more..although I'm still not explaining too much about it Smiley

What do you mean with dissonance between the menus and gameplay? the photo on the main menu?

This game is already so late in development and I'm still making and unmaking gameplay decisions which slows things down a bit, but I think its for the good of the final version Smiley

new video up today, showing how the floating prana orbs act on things. and now the player can also emit them, instead of depending only on the ones released by trees.

In this short demo I'm showing how the floating prana orbs are used to different functions: getting to "know" new trees (which can then be planted later, and will also give you prana in autumn) and increasing the player land size

the player is now also able to emit orbs, reducing its own prana levels.

also, did a great optimization in the code which improved drastically the average FPS :D bumping to 0.5
