I couldn't resist doing a redesign of the robots seen on the cover of Slaves To The Metal Horde.

A challenge to Arne would be to draw anything without inserting a cute girl in the middle.

Maybe we should rename the thread to "tigsource draws robots with children"
It would still be awesome.

I drew heads, does that count? I have a question, how do you make the lines look like that? Like it had pressure but not too much.

Kinnas, your robots seem well-made with the finest of materials and carefully built and maintained, but I cannot help but feel that they seem as physically handicapped misfits who long for acceptance. Maybe one of them wants to join the robo corps, but all the soldiers laugh at him. There's one soldier that treats him kindly but he doesn't really think he's cut out for this type of stuff. All the misfit robots hang out together under the ol' apple tree near the abandoned factory and wish someone would just take the time to understand them. They speak in beeps and Morse code.

It's a part of my sketchbook. It was meant to be filled with portraits of people I meet while commuting. But then: robots.
