i actually sort of agree with this oops. it's what soured me on the game, and im not a completionist and usually take the "good" path in games when there is a choice.
edit: i just googled the post and the reasoning is typical gamergate bs that i ofc don't agree with. but the feeling of constantly being judged and the game coming with this weird expectation to care about the characters the way you would care about real people made it too stressful to play for me. in the end i have to put my own mental well-being over playing a hyped videogame, even if its an admittedly very good one.

a i the only one that never felt judged? i probably made the same actions as cas and i simply went forward with the game and finished it (except for one character, but it was her loss, not mine, HA HA!). I am replaying it because it seems a quest branchline only opens on a second play no matter what you do.
from what i have read, the actual bad ending seems to require you pretty much that you ask the game to judge you. like, hey you fucking game piece of shit, loook how completely deplorable i am, judge meeeeeeeeee!

it's totally my problem and not the game's. this is like the first game with a guilt trip that actually works. i'm just bad at handling it due to my tendency to take shit like this to heart (even tho i didnt kill anyone except 1 character).

This argument has been brought up a few times on the Undertale boards, not just by this guy.
The end of the game does pose the act of fighting for exp and gold as being selfish in unambiguous language. Genocide mode as a whole is ironic because mechanically it is a bog-standard RPG, except twisted that nobody calls you a hero.
The end of Genocide mode also marks your save in such a way that you are permanently reminded of your choice. This has frustrated more than a few players who are upset that experiencing genocide mode ensures all future playthroughs have a downer ending, despite being 99% the same as the "best" ending.
The counterargument is that the developer clearly doesn't believe in this message - in addition to Undertale he's produced Earthbound hacks that utilize standard RPG mechanics without judging the player. The developer pretty clearly has presented the argument "against" RPGs and completionists just as a hypothetical for this one game.

i believe totally uninstalling undertale will clear the save thing (maybe a registry wipe too? idk i haven't done genocide yet) in case you wanna start over and not have it change your true pacifist experience

Maw's correct - you can clear the data that remembers your genocide run if it bothers you that badly.
