Idk if anyone is gonna be interested in this but here we gooooo~

The object in Tunkio (probably gonna change the name) is to get through a dungeon (to kill an evil witch or something idk), but instead of fighting enemies you talk to different people and make decisions that will change the course of the game. Kinda like in visual novels.

There really isn't a "story", just a bunch of wacky shenanigans. Maybe it will be boring, maybe it won't!

Here's some early screenshots

Wow, really interesting, I like the graphics and the idea. There will be a beta sometime Grin ?
Did you chose a random name ? I googled it and it's looks like in Finnish it would be "scrap heap"

It kinda means dungeon in finnish. I don't think there will be a beta, I might have some kind of playtesting thing.

For me, it has the connotation of a compost. Tongue Something like Tunkkis (or even Dunkkis) would sound legit tongue-in-cheek in the style of those local hobbyist games.

Heh, Dunkkis is pretty good :D
Maybe I should just name it avokomposti.

Like the 'interactive fiction' direction you choose. Looking forward to see how your project moves on.

Dunkkis is a good name (although I would also play Avokomposti). And I really like the art style.

I like how weird and usual this game seems.
How does the game play?

Well you basically just walk around and talk to people or interact with stuff. In it's core it's like a visual novel, your decisions affect the story.

(This game actually started as a visual novel/sim game with randomly generated stuff, but then I realized that actually controlling the character is more interesting.)

Hard to decide between Dunkkis and Avokomposti Grin

I've been making this game pretty much "what ever comes to my mind" style. Lot of the dialogue was made as I drew the characters and backgrounds, but lately I've been thinking more of the "lore" of Tunkio. I'm probably gonna do more writing and design stuff before I just put them into the game without any thought.

Here's a crappy character sketch

I like the concept!! Too many games revolve around conflict between characters. Also, that wizard is gorgeous. Wizard Please tell me you can play as the wizard!? Or at least has an important role.. ha
