haha food fight is too good. This looks really cool so far, can't wait to see more! Will game play be arcade style or more of an action game?
Well, I'm not exactly sure what the difference is... It will have more of a timing based battle system with combos, special attacks, dodges, and blocks. You will only have 1 life and you get bonus gold when you can complete rounds without taking damage. I guess it's more arcade..ish...V It will have a level system too though.

Thank you! I've spend quite a bit of time on the animations and I hope to keep that same quality for the entire game.

New animation looks good. Just a personal thought to take or leave. Being a Colosseum game,I think you should focus on individual enemies rather than groups. If you start piling up the enemies, it becomes like a fake arcade game and you lose that sense of realism (Even if you're fighting monsters). I would focus on battling difficult individuals with their own unique ai. There's something more intimidating about facing one powerful enemy versus a group of easily defeated enemies.

That's good feedback. I'm actually planning on doing small groups or one huge enemy each having their own unique ai. The screenshot was more of a test to make sure that the AI worked without getting stuck inside each other. It's easier for me to find glitches if I throw a tone of them in the same room.
I for sure agree with you though. I want this game to be tactics/timing based not a hack and slash.

I think I meant adventure game, not action, sorry. Played the demo, felt really fluid and good to play, just how I imagined from seeing the gif. Would have liked the sword to be able to land a hit from a bit farther. Keep up the good work!

I've always liked this sort of flat muted approach to pixel art, looks really nice and definitely +1 vote for local co-op from me! : )

Very well, I really like de visuals and the animations. And at sight looks fun as hell. Looking forward this project.
BTW: is gonna have local multiplayer, If it is, that's gonna be a hell of a plus, at least for me.
Good luck.
