i'd get rid of the gradient on the sidewalk, it makes it look too cylindrical. love the style for this though, keep it up.

the faux-3D effect is pretty cool, sorta the polar opposite to the realistic low-contrast images you had above...was that intentional?

I actually like the no-depth version you had before. It feels a little more otherworldly because it's unusual to see the world only from a perfectly perpendicular angle.
The character art is lovely and I think you've hit perfection there.

it's a step I take in making them, yeah. I may make a walkthrough of my animating process at some point, if anyone is interested. that would be cool, dood.
