I submitted the game to the IndieCade event ( http://www.indiecade.com/). I kind of doubt ESA'll do well there, but eh, whatever. Two questions though.. Is there going to be an arctic sector? (sorry if you posted it somewhere and I missed seeing it) And also are their going to be any scenes from that planet's surface? I'd be curious to see either. I'm always happy to see you post stuff, especially the awesome gifs!
Nah, no ice/arctic sections, I'm not a huge fan of them and since the game world is pretty compact, having a fiery volcanic area along with an icy area would've felt a bit wrong. And yes, you can walk on the planet's surface, although very briefly. The planet is very much devoid of life, more like greenish-blue mars than anything. Any word on the music and sound design you're pursuing?

The final boss is now pretty much done! There's still a lot of tiny things to add and tweak and whatnot, but we're definitely very close There'll be another stream on Tuesday 1.7. at 11 PM (GMT/UTC)! I'll continue from where I stopped last time and play for some 20-30 minutes. |
