So, I played through Cave Story again today, on the Wii version.
Noticed a few things, which may or may not have to do with the update:
Music has been fixed. This definitely is because of the update.
Main character... do I really have to avoid his name for spoilers? Anyway, he seems to be in a blue outfit no matter the difficulty level. Confusing.
That certain useless item belonging to Curly seems to be missing, although I could have just forgotten where it is. But I could not find it anywhere in the...place it was supposed to be.
And, the reason for this post: I got the Mimiga mask. But it was *drumroll* a pumpkin mask instead.
...Halloween fun? If anyone cares about an extremely minor easter egg, play through Cave Story again! Or even if you don't!

I think I've been told that his alternate outfit shows up on holidays such as Halloween, so that could've been an easter egg as well. In case you didn't know, it's also the outfit he wore during the beta phase of Cave Story's development. It was; I was trying for an every-possible-item Good End run. Didn't know that about the alternate costumes. I'll check again, but I thought I noticed it days ago, right after I got the patch. |

The announcement flew under the radar as far as I'm aware, but a 10th Dec release date has been set. Just in time for the TIGSource Secret Santa.  |

IS it worth of if I have tried playing it twice with computer and both times I haven't finished it?  Maybe actually paying for it would add more incentive to finish it. Also, I'm not really that interested in playing with computer generally. |
