Did you know that symmetry in faces is one of the most important elements in people being good-looking? So I guess Alchemy makes that a lot easier!

Have any of you guys played around with the "displace" tool much? It's not particularly useful (at least for me) for creating images, but the interaction is amazing!! It's like some wild abstract game that I'd love to play with all day. And I do

Yeah, I love messing around with displace. I think whoever can truly master it will be a much better Alchemy artist because of that.

Incredible. I really like the colours/composition of this. And did you use anything other than Alchemy to make it, because I'm looking at it and I'm not totally sure. (No problem if you did; it's Alchemy related, so posting it here is totally cool.)

I just used Adobe Photoshop to add some texture to it and make it look a little more fancy-pants.

Awesome! That's what I was guessing actually, and it's amazing seeing just how much nicer an alchemy composition is with that bit of texture.

This program is awesome. I love how easy it is to create stuff even if you have no artistic skill oncesoever. I fooled around with it a bit and ended up making this: It's some sort of cowboy/gunman with a long collar trench coat and hat that casts a shadow over his eyes. It's amazing what this program can do. I'd never be able to make anything like this otherwise. The only thing is I can't make this into an actual artwork. Like I said, I have no artistic skill at all. So I really have no idea how I would go about taking this "sketch" and turning it into a full color piece of artwork in photoshop. I really wish I could though.

I really wish I could though. I can't color on the computer, either. I can, however, paint with "real" media; though, that's beside the point. I still think it's amazing to make a complex and creative sketch. I would really like to see you sketch that out, if you can.

I love Alchemy. I actually learned about it during the cockpit compo, apparently it had some role in the mech designs in landfall...
