At first, I was going to replace bleeding with something else for fleshless monsters. And then I realized showers of blood and golden coins coming even from skeletons are about the best thing ever. Still split on this one.

I'd actually prefer to have slight nuances in particle effects between enemies. But yeah, whatever floats your boat I guess.

The impact is looks good nonetheless, maybe he's got a heart in that ribcage. We scheduled a week for implementing a boss into our game and spent a month. Here's his intro, nothing too fancy.

The white tile is just for debug purposes. In the final game it'll slowly fade out. Liking the look of this, although agree with ANtY about the speed of the character movement. Always wanted to make a game where the character changed into different animals so will be keeping an eye on this Finished the right hand swipe up failed juggling attempt for Humqn Fishbowl.

i dont have a devlog The animation is dope. Some of it is pretty noisy, although that might be because it's procedural. My biggest gripe is with the lamps. They just look hilariously stilted. I'm not sure what your intentions with them was, perhaps some simulation of wind, but this just looks totally unfitting and currently breaks the atmosphere you're trying to go for. I hope you're aware of this.
