yes, but the only games i took off were double-posts (one game was listed twice) and games which are released when i thought they were not yet released (such as sword and sworcery) |

voting closes in november so it's still early to say, but probably so; not too surprising. the interesting thing to me will be to see which the top 10 are, not what #1 is

replaced three that i had that were somehow removed: Blocks that Matter, Solar Reboot, and JForce: Unstoppable -- there may be others, i'm investigating. unfortunately those games lost their votes if they had any, i'm not sure how they got removed, maybe there's a maximum limit on the number of choices? it's at 126 currently

weird, i didn't remove that one either. there must be some type of bug with the software for polling, since games keep getting removed when i add new ones. will re-add that one

okay, important: i've discovered that there is a limit of 126 items in this poll. and that when i add more than that number, some of them are randomly removed.
no new games may be added without removing old ones. any suggestions about what to do?
should i remove all games with 0 votes? should i just stop adding new games?

yes, votes are kept when i edit the poll unless a game is removed; then that game's votes get reset to 0 when i put it back on the poll

the plan for now: i'm going to remove all games with 0 votes (except for the most recent batch of games that was recently added or re-added). this will clear up some room for new games, temporarily (until the 126 limit is reached again). if you want me to add a game make sure you vote for it so that it won't be removed if nobody else votes for it; any game with 0 votes for more than a few days will be removed if nobody votes for it in that time period
it's unfortunate that i have to do it that way but i didn't know about the limit of 126 poll items
(if this isn't sufficient to cover all new nominations, eventually i'll extend that to removing all games with only 1 vote)
