Yeah, I figured (hence the ?). Just wanted to see how people reacted to the longer eyes. There're a few more little tiny changes in both, though.

For his idle animation, he has to be shifting his weight slightly and dribbling the ball from hand to hand in between legs.

Hey Jim, lookin' good and nice to see you around here again! Though I must say that I agree with JaJitsu on the complementary colors of his clothing. Yellow/Purple are definitely the better choice.

A more potent yellow? The yellow by the leg needs to be brought out a bit. Edit:

This is looking nice. I am tired of jamming with the rest. I can't wait to slam with the best.

Yeah, I'd imagine it to be less symmetrical than that with the legs...

Alright, here's another edit: I adjusted the colors so his dress and skin are more saturated. Also I reduced his skin colors from 5 to 4, otherwise you'll go crazy animating this guy. Overall there are 19 colors used right now. Also no mirrored legs when the ball is not in front of his body as well as a stance improvement on both sprites. Now go - animate away!

Love the new edit, Rostiger, he looks much less cramped now.

I think we have to go with the first more cramped version, though. If he's going to be dribbling the ball in his idle animation, we will need to be sure that the ball is above solid ground. With the latest edit, the ball would be bouncing on air when Barkley's standing on a ledge.

Ah, misunderstanding: the pose where he stretches out his arm is not meant to replace the other one - it just shows what he looks like behind the basketball and can be used as a reference/template for animation.

I'd like to start programming another character. Any objections to doing Barkley next?
