And you're doing a MANIACALLY good job at it, too.

Wow that's cool. Last time I saw Andrew Jones using this technique he only used ZBrush and Painter for it. This makes it even easier.

Looks good so far, and I've never heard of alchemy, so will definitely be checking that out. Keep up the good work!

It's got chicken legs!
I wouldn't be surprised if another mech-thing came up behind it, climbed it, and united to form a larger thing- it really looks like a set of hips and legs ready for a torso to stick on top of it.

What's the video card requirement on that sucker? Shader 2.0 or can you get away with earlier? And is that really a FOUR DIGIT frame rate?

Some more in-engine stuff.
Well, that looks fantastic. Didn't know about alchemy, will play around with it later tonight I hope. BTW, how did you go from the 2D vectors from alchemy to the 3D mech?

Yes, it's 2.0 or above. I'll see if I can write 1.0 versions of the shaders, but i probably wont bother with that for the deadline. And is that really a FOUR DIGIT frame rate? I think you might be in the wrong thread Some more in-engine stuff.
