Why not have the eyes be some kind of esoteric shape? Why not add eyes or even mount them on something. Come on guys stop focusing on just the freaking size of it darnit...

I like the idea of having the eye instead of being just a dot, be like a slit/line, in the same area as that NeoGAF mockup.

It's an herbivore-type, right? Goat/deer pupils are unfamiliar enough to take away the "safeness" of a more normalish eye. Eyes on the ends of the antler branches could be an interesting alternative.

Yeah the oval head and the eye basically makes it a bunny. Since it doesn't have a snout it feels a bit...domestic? Relevant rabbit lantern Love the way they look at each other though.

Here's a mock-up from the NeoGAF thread: Way prefer this. Fits much better in the game IMO, the big eye sort of falls in this weird uncanny valley kind of place.

^ TRUE ART. seriously though, thanks for some good suggestions and we'll take them into consideration when we get to the polish phase. but for now... were off to The Wall! * here being region 10 of course. you might remember this early early sketch i did for it way back when we were starting on Chimney Canopy: detail: https://i.imgur.com/NoV05Ka.pngJoar is working on some custom tiles for it right now, so me thinks it will probably change from there quite a bit, but the idea is the same: a mega huge wall that you scale. got some clever ideas for mechanics for it, so we are pretty excited to get going on it (and out of linear farms)

I like the beard idea. Makes him look more majestic. As for the eye, we need a return of laser beam eyes from the early version.
