You'd seen that one here a bit before if you hadn't been account deleting addict.

Hah! I run that. ...Not sure why I find this funny. Did you know? Yesterday was the start of #GPCv3 (that was #GPCv2). This month's themes are "loneliness" and "dimensions". Games are due by 11:59pm on Monday, February 21st, 2011 (except that I've never rejected a late game, so most people submit through the night and I archive in the morning). It's not a compo, it's just a challenge. So there's no winner, just a spur-of-the-moment motivation to make a neat game with somewhat contrary themes building off of each other. I know of at least eight people who started yesterday, so join in the fun! #GPCv2 ended with 10 submissions, I'd love to see v3 blow that out of the water. Sorry I didn't post this yesterday, I didn't really want to "advertise" on TIG, but when I saw that last post in the thread I felt it appropriate to comment.

I had page 11 sitting on my desktop for a few days now... I thought I had uploaded it, but apparently not. I am so damn scatterbrained sometimes... lol. Anyways, I sent it to Renton just now.

I'm currently hosting a competition at http://www.epicpumpkin.com. All valid entries will get a featured post on the site and the winner will basically get free publicity/advertising (I'm still working out the details, but I'm currently thinking of replacing the most viewed ad space on the site with a graphic declaring the winner & a link to their game/site... I'll determine how long to leave it up based on the amount of participation, but it will be up for at least a month.) The theme is to make a 2D shooter and the submission date is June 6th. Here's the direct link to the contest page http://www.epicpumpkin.com/?page_id=4306 if you have any questions.

Editing the topic to remove the old competitions. If you would like your competition to be in the original post, just leave a reply pointing to the compo announcement and the deadline in this thread and I will add it.
