@Retro - Cool colors. I've just started shifting hues and saturating shadow colors recently myself. It makes things look so much better! Grin

@KayelGee - It kind of looks like he's doing lunges instead of walking. Try pulling the back leg in towards him when he's in his 'crossing' state (where both legs are close to each other, before he 'strikes' out with his legs).

I don't understand what you mean exactly. Should I move the first leg more to the right or should I move the second leg more towards his torso?

Never mind, it's not the crossing frames at all. The back leg should be closer to his torso and raised up a bit on the second and sixth frames, as his weight isn't on his back leg anymore - it's on his front leg. It seems like it 'hangs' a bit there to me. But the cycle's pretty good overall.

@golemshaper - Thanks! It's turning out better and better every week. Two Brothers also looks really cool! The graphics are nice and sharp, and I like the splashes of colors that appears - is the monochrome coloring a shader running over the screen that you can control?

Thank you very much! And yes, we have complete control over the colors in the game. This was important to us when we first started developing so we wouldn't have to keep recreating graphics.  Cool

@EliminateWho, that looks really good generally, however it seems odd that certain objects including the character are really bright in contrast to their surroundings.

@ the loli comments, that's a ridicules things to say, there are a lot of great games with young protagonists. Plus, for all you know that's a university and in fact that's not a young woman at all but a Uni student.

Worked on a character design for someone here, as well as a sprite to accompany it.

Gauges and Hat with suspenders to make the character look modern, more or less.

What the hell is wrong with you guys? The mockup was perfectly fine.

edit: Ok, Cobralad seems to be mostly telling everybody that they, their mothers and their games suck, so no surprise here.

Thank you! A user on here asked me to design a character for him. He only specified that I should design a young man in his 20's for a fighting game, a shot of the character and two portraits. He also specified that he's going for a Sega Genesis feel- so I tried to use a color palette from a Sega Genesis game. (At the side)

He might use it in his game. It might just be concept. He hasn't messaged me back.  Shrug

I don't have any plans on refining it though due to my schedule, so maybe he'll either find an artist who will, or use a new design.
