Most as well jump on the bandwagon and post mine from last year. Unfortunately I'm not going to GDC this year so I'm not getting them reprinted, and I was also going to change the design (clean it up a bit, new email and whatnot).

On the front one you might notice that you can't see my name or the stuff on the right, that's because there's another layer of UV Spotting which shines, whereas the rest of the card is a matte surface. I'd have to take an actual photo for you to see how it really looks.

I did notice the UV spotting, and was going to ask whether it would be too dark, but shiny is even better. Smiley

I'm pretty pleased with how these turned out, except that the reverse side seems to have come out upside down. Not terrible, but a little disappointing.

Eh, people can just change their flip direction, no? Instead of flipping horizontally, flip vertically. Tongue

Haha, Ben yours is awesome... I like how you left a space for people to take notes on.

Thanks! Yeah, I've heard that it's a good idea to leave blank space for that, but it didn't feel right to leave the backs blank when I put so much details into the front. Plus I liked the little touch of humor that the back note added Smiley

Phil, yours is very cool. I aimed at simplicity too, but I can't resist to decorate!

The back of Phil's card induced some kind of LSD-trip when I was scrolling down this page.

HOORAY I got a whole bunch of stuff today.

Overnight Prints kinda mucked up the business cards I ordered from them though, there are weird visible lines through the ink on all of them.  My Vistaprint backup cards look like they're going to be the ones being handed out.

Can't make it to GDC, sadly, but I'm still working on the branding process so I'd appreciate a bit of buscard feedback while everyone is posting them.

Which of these looks better? Is the text or layout too visually noisy/overdone?
Email and domain are still on their way.

Personally I like the white border better because I think it makes it look a little more like a playing card, which I think is cool. For bonus points you could print them with rounded edges to make that association even stronger.

Only problem is that borders tend to be really hard to pull off when printing business cards due to the unpredictability of where the cards will actually be cut.

Indeed.  The cards I did last year were cut on a slight angle, making the line across the top of my card look disproportionately bad.

Fingers crossed on them getting back from the printers before my flight...

Gone for blatent advertising on the back.  Hopefully it will make it worth paying extra for double-sided.
