Hello all, I just got approval from Apple for my latest game, Dream Flight! I was hoping you could check it out and let me know what you think.

There is a free web-playable version of the first version online so you can try it for free. It's a little out of date but should give a good idea of the gameplay.
Try it here: http://dreamflightgame.com/play.html

Here's the blurb(s) from iTunes and links...

Get the game:
iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dream-flight/id796272912?ls=1&mt=8
Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jqsoftware.dreamflight
Google Play Demo: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jqsoftware.dreamflightdemo

More info:
Web: http://dreamflightgame.com
Trailer (YouTube):

Description:
In our favorite dreams we learn to fly. Explore the world from high above as you take to dream flight. Be careful of the obstacles, hitting one will wake you up. As you fly deeper in to your dreams discover more and more fantastical dream scapes. Soar deeper and deeper, until you uncover the secrets of the dream world. Tap and hold to fly, or let go to gently drift down.

The backgrounds look super cool man.
How long did you spend on this?

Thanks! Not too long, it was a quick idea I just wanted to put out there. No more than a few weeks.

Ah I see.

A few comments:
There should probably have been more particles trailing your character. It doesn't seem to flow very well with what you have.
The clouds might look better being less fuzzy.
The character should be more consistent visually with the environments.

The gameplay is pretty simple all around.

But seriously that background.

Thanks for sharing the cute little demo.

Overall I liked the art style, but I want more refinement.

Something about the character and the particles bothered me. Maybe try an art test focusing on softening up these elements.

I was also impressed at how stressed out I got when you zoomed-in after the big zoom-out. That's a very interesting variable to play with.  Grin

Overall cool vibe, good work.

Thanks for the great feedback everyone, I'm excited to work on further refining the game and building out more content.
In the meantime, I just got a great review from App Advice, so now I'll be getting plenty of testers!
