That's pretty fucking amazing for a first.
I'd study some a-fucking lot of walking cycles first, did a few retraces, tutorials and so forth. I, then, did the stick-figure and go from there. In and out it took my almost all my free time, for a week, to go from nothing to that, very simple, walking cycle. I used that information in some other projects. Here's another sample of the process:

Oo nice, didn't know we had an animation thread. Nice rat Eobet, I find rigging to be a living hell, looks like you did a good job on it. Just uploaded my student film today so thought it appropriate to post it here to see what y'all think:

might as well show some old stuff. This was kind of an art test. No rig, just simple motions Now this below was rigged but the rig had a parenting issue and I remade another for it and the new one works just fine! I wish I had a shot of the old rig vsing the new but oh well! and this old chap

Hi folks, here is an animation of an enemy character from an iOS game I'm working on. I've been getting a lot of good feedback as I work on it from the pixel art thread.

Here are two animations I made for a soccer game on the N-Gage (YES, N-GAGE!! HA HA!). The game was called "Marcel Dessaily Pro Soccer", and it was made by Gameloft (YES, GAMELOFT!! HA HA!). It was used during the penalty sequence. This is great style

yeah, it moves upwards. it's actually an animated particle for a particle system that looks really cool. I gotta figure out a way to capture the particle animation.
