Outrun + Ice Climber
You'd drive up a mountain, avoiding penguins and driving carefully through clouds, and at the summit, you'd jump to a moving cargo plane.

Ice Climber + Closure
Use a candle to illuminate and solidify the environment around you, and to melt strategic hole through the ice platforms that you are climbing. Just be careful about accidentally melting the ice beneath your feet.

Sounds like a rather... monstrous party. Party Game + MMORPGParty with your... party. Nothing but minigames to see here. Could actually work, given the amount of minigames already in place in many MMORPGs.

Survival Horror + Marine Biology
You discover a mysterious sunken tanker while doing ground-breaking research at the bottom of the Mariana trench and its contents are accidentally released. Suddenly you are under attack by zombie sea creatures! Can you make it back to the surface?
Marine Biology is not a genre but maybe it should be.

Infinite Mario Kart-like track that goes faster and faster, avoid obstacles and jump over holes. You could be chased by something too, like in Hook Champ and Tiny Wing.

RTS + the Minecraft multiplayer experience
Minecraft multiplayer is like a group adventure. Everyone is in a world contributing to it's development. You can see each other at a distance, communicate through chat, but mostly have to work with others using the same methods available in real life. Everyone owns a piece of what the group is trying to accomplish. That's interesting.
The most stagnant element of RTS is the "God" perspective. You can always do everything and see everything. Creative building games existed before Minecraft, but Minecraft made the experience tangible. It showed you that each structure provides a different experiential feeling and players were introduced to their own creativity as a result.
I'd like to see that idea of reduced perspective in Minecraft exist in an RTS that's rooted in it's co-operative multiplayer. It doesn't have to be PVP. You could team up against AIs, or better yet, generated sequences of challenges. You RTS through a world, not into an enemy.
Everyone can only see a small piece of the forces they're trying to control. Teamwork is necessary and it isn't contrived. You have to co-operate because you literally can only be in one place at a time. You have to divide responsibilities by your strengths and constantly communicate.
I'd like that game very much.
