There's another ticket up for grabs, as a friend of Marek's is not able to attend!

Just in case, here's my mobile number - 0049 177 677 264 six. Call/text me when the need arises (got lost on your way to the jam, became hungry, acquired new dance moves etc).

Hmmmm, any 'premeeting' like last year tomorrow/today?
Will ask a buddy if he wants to fill one of the remaining spaces, if I can catch him tomorrow.

We were talking about Winnitron a bit. It seems that some people in Munich didn't quite get started on it: http://bitcollective.ca/forums/index.php?topic=29.0

I talked about Open Development Marketing: http://opendevmarketing.blogspot.com/

Ido talked about Cardinal Quest: http://blog.tametick.com/

My notes for Cardinal Quest:
* Released August 2011 (on sale for 2 weeks)
* Graphical casual-controls Roguelike dungeon crawler
* Made so far enough money for staying indie 4-5 Months
* Reddit, twitter, forums
* 8 bit funding - got ~USD 4800 (target was USD 6000)
* BMTMicor and Fastspring
* OSX Port: 1h. Linux version a lot of work.
* Will try to get on Mac App store and Steam and probably some portals (GamersGate, Direct2Drive...) after next update

Actually I got more traffic from Hacker News than reddit. Also, Rock, Paper, Shotgun and other blogs brought in a lot of attention.

More info here.

It was $6000 actually

I think I must sit today out. ._.
I caught a cold with fever and all that. Blame it on running around in the rain with sandals and no jacket.
Aspyrin bombing has no effect at all atm.
to bad... was just warming up yesterday. x.x;

Hi,
just wanted to say that the BIGJam was an interesting experience. Hopefully, next time we won't have to leave so early. And even though I/we didn't really got around to do something awesome (jams with such a small time frame are new to me), it was very nice to meet you all! Hope to see you next year!
Regards,
overhead

Had a fantastic jam! Thanks Robert for organizing it!
Finally had time to have a proper look at Gamemaker and follow Derek Yu's excellent tutorials here on tigsource. I got a spaceship! And it shoots! Made my own sprites! *superproud*. Hopefully next time I will be able to actually participate in the 3hour jams :D

I uploaded my BIGjam photos to flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/zo-ii/sets/72157627564739792/

See you next year!

Those are great! I'm gonna see about getting the pics off of my camera, as well. Also VIDEJOS!
Also, thanks for everyone involved in the jam for being there and doing what they did. Great fun was had!
