Wow, they're really trying to create the maximum amount of drama, aren't they? Valve did not "shut down Dotabuff", they just made changes to their privacy settings so DB's current method of mining data is no longer possible.
I don't have any sympathy left for these guys. They're pointing fingers at Valve and saying "it's their fault, we were right the whole time!" And then they have the balls to link to IceFrog's email account at the end of the post, encouraging people to spam him with complaints. We don't even know that it was IceFrog's decision yet.

I heard Spectre's ultimate is completely bugged, only about half as effective as it was supposed to be in Dota 1, and no one noticed until now because there are only like 12 people who care about Spectre and none of them bothered to report it.

If it's much smaller than Puck, I doubt it would be distracting at all. I mean, we had Mini Pudge and Mini Techies back then and that wasn't a problem for anyone.

Thanks for the encouragement guys, I finished animating the flying version today, I'll try to finish the rest in a day or so,
re: it being too similar to the hero, hopefully the size/shape difference is enough, if not the color difference should do it, if you look at a pic of puck on google you'l see it's very purple looking compared to my more teal colored creatures

this one applied to one of my anti-mage games once:  but the other guy didn't steal my farm, he just kept auto attacking the enemy creeps. making it really hard to last hit, and between getting denied by the enemy and him fucking up my last hits I maybe got 1/4th of the creeps of each wave. then when he finally fucks off he calls me a bad carry because I have shit farm. people like that can eat a thousand dicks. |
