Crashes about halfway through loading for me
<img>

Thanks Sakar, you should be able to disable shaders in settings.cfg for now.

If you're able, could you give me some info on your opengl drivers? I use gpu caps viewer to determine this stuff, and my system has Core: 4.0 - GLSL: 4.00.

@DustyDrake, lol, noted!

Niiiice. Smooth 60fps for me, looks really nice. Strange choice to make the vines collidable. The lighting looked nice, and though I didn't really build much, it looks like a solid start.

Disabling shaders results in the same thing

Core: 2.0
GLSL: 1.1

By far the best cat simulator I've played all week, I created about 100 cats without dipping from 60 FPS.

Also, images do not do this game justice in how good it looks.

Spawned lunakits until my lunakit spawning finger was aching without the frame rate ever dropping below sixty. Phenom II X6 1090T (6 x 3.6GHz), 8GB DDR3, Win 7.

Why does walking interupt my lunakit spawning?

Why can't I walk through vines?

Why can't I drop down a wall into a three tile high opening?

Cheers guys, glad to hear its running!

@Sakar Thanks, I may as well make it run on early GLSL versions, the shader logic isn't that complex yet.

The Chrome error could be from the decimal point making it look like a weird file-type.

Controls pretty well. I have no idea how you optimized the cat logic, because I know I had several hundred onscreen at once, and it was using 30% of my CPU. Shocked

Now just make each and every cat meow, and you'll have something to destroy ear-drums in a matter of seconds. Great job.

The world generation is really solid, I like it!
I'd also like to see a jumping animation and think that you shouldn't be able to pickaxe on blocks more than 2 blocks away.

Good job Wink

Oh man, sound optimization is my favorite thing I wish I was far enough along in my games to worry about it.

This is looking great!

thx guys Smiley

@Solar I think the speed is mainly because I pre-allocate all the memory and make sure that everything that's updated together is close together in memory. Though I really can't be sure. :S

oh, well thanks for the feedback, i think it could be your intel gfx chip not liking rendertextures. i'm thinking of providing a basic rendering option for those chips..
