oakstead: I really like that style. Gravity Games: Definitely, "stop-motion inspired visuals" is one of our bullet points Lachsen: Looks very cool. xier: That's great as well! Clean pixel art like that has so many good things going for it in terms of gameplay. Clarity is one. In Hardland (our 3d project) if enemies or you drop a pouch to the ground you will have a difficult time finding it due to the overlapping grass - which is not necessarily fun. Hardland's map screen will be updated in release 12: The map was relatively straightforward to fill with objects, as we already have all the object data. So it's just a matter of visualizing the same data in a different way. We attach "MapMarkerComponent" to each object template that we want to be visible on the map. Bitmap scale and layer can also be defined. Stuff which is on the same layer are drawn in vertical order to give that illusion of 3d. (it's a top-down 2d map)

Really cool stuff everyone, it all looks amazing! This is a shot of level 2 in this infinite runner I'm working on, Project Lola. It's still a work in progress and the background needs changing but it's coming along.

New title shot for our colonial-punk TRPG. Also a gif of a new camera change to make our rail camera feel less stiff.

My world generator's made a little bit of progress this week, from being a voronoi diagram and a billion squares drawn in the Gizmo editor to actual hexagons floating in space. Tomorrow I'll get the hills rendered in, put some Fog of War into it, and go for a walk around it... New title shot for our colonial-punk TRPG. That is exceptionally pretty. You doing a devlog for this?
