I dunno why I never post screenshots here but here's a few of the game I'm currently working on - Jetboard Joust. It's a character-based retro shooter (very 'Defender' inspired) with a few RPG-lite elements such as upgradeable weapons and stuff. Follow the link in my sig for the DevLog which I update pretty regularly...
Oooh neat you should put different unlockable color schemes in the options Thanks! Yeah, I've been toying with the idea of using other palettes somehow. It's on the list to look at - trouble is it's a very long list!

@Thaumaturge the colors do not cycle, but the heights are constantly changing and wobbling around. The color is inferred from the height, so the colors are also not really constant. And of course it is infinite. If you want to you can try it out, it is all open source and just an example of my in development game/renderer creation tool that does not yet have a proper name. But you would be on your own to compile it. It's written in a not so popular programming language called Nim.
