The Game is a 2D Adventure Platformer set in an Earth-like planet in the near future. The game is inspired by things like Monster World IV, Zelda II and various metroidvanias. The game has a large map with diverse locations, and has a focus on exploration and secrets. Various items acquired in dungeons and outside can be used to get to new locations in the game. Your main weapon is a gun, but there is also an energy sword option for close encounters, or from angles the gun would not be applicable.


STORY

A girl in the young town of Solidaster wakes up on her birthday. She discovers that her missing adventurer father has gifted her a gun before his disappearance, and it was delivered years later. She decides it was given to her for a reason, so she decides to use it to help others. After discovering her talent in using the gun and adventuring in general, she decides to explore and learn more about her missing father and the world in general.

(There is backstory, but it's not fully fleshed out yet like much of the main story)

GAME



The game is a 2D adventure platformer. The game will mostly be spent exploring dungeons, fighting bosses and finding new locations outside while collecting new items. The main item in the game is the gun, which has several upgrades over the course of the game to change it's strength, element and more.


Enemies found in the game will vary in size. There are 3 main sizes of enemies that range from small, medium and large (ususally bosses). All enemies have an element that is either Water, Earth or Fire. There are gun upgrades to take advantage of that.


The game will feature many bosses for you to take down, and tons of optional content such as additional areas, quests, items, bosses and more!

Oh hey Fervir. The game is mostly action outside and during bosses and such, though inside it's mostly puzzles and obstacles.

Exploration will be handled by using newer items to access hidden areas. And yes I'm planning for a lot of secrets.
