We've been juggling a lot of things lately, but I think we're getting fairly close to being able to create a teaser trailer for our Kickstarter campaign soon. Just lots of clean up to do. Here are some rough run cycles and attacks for the other characters.

Each character will have a slashing and a piercing styled basic attack combo.

Archer character's rough run+piercing attack (no combo yet).


Mage character's rough run+slashing combo (short combo).


Brawler character's rough run+slashing combo (needs a lot of clean up, effects, and two more attacks added to it)


We're also working on some skills for the characters, so more soon!

A couple of rough skills to show.

Early character movement and effects for the Frost Extractor skill, we'll show a bit on how this one works at the weekend after some extra polish work on the effects.


Rough currently unnamed skill showing the two directions you can go in with it. Either a piercing explosive shot, or activate a black hole to pull and damage enemies.

^ Very cool. The scythe dude's swings, like the rest of the animations, are nice and smooth, but it feels like it lacks weight. Maybe that last frame of animation could hold for a couple of frames? Not sure if that's desired, though. Anyway, nice work!

As it is, we are wanting the combos to be smooth and quick, especially for this character's slashing style attack combo. The brawler style character's punches will definitely have some good weight and effects though. We are going to be playing around with it, possibly adding simple abilities to your combos, and changing their properties. Lots of options to test. Thanks for the feedback!

First look at the Mage's Frost Extractor skill at full power, still some clean up to do on the icicles. The wind is an optional pulling effect that you can hold down.

So this is basically PSO(Phantasy Star Online) Be still my beating heart...

All the animations are top notch! I've been saving them all like crazy. Building up a nice collection. Great job TronMaximum!

I feel like the game might benefit from stealing as much as possible from PSO as it can. Section ID's, drop charts, Boss types, text and symbol chat, classes, rare(palette swaps) enemies and bosses that show up randomly etc etc

PSO lasted me for years and years so if you can get it even close to that state then I'll forever be in your debt!

Keep up the great work everyone! I'm look forward to seeing more!

Thanks man, we actually love PSO so that's awesome to hear! This will play more like an Action RPG/dungeon crawler, but we hope to make something as large as PSO one day!
