The art in this is absolutely beautiful. Everything looks so moody, a little melancholic, and totally surreal. That "casual magic" you're talking about is all over this game. Love it.

Whew! We have been insanely busy over here on Petrichor! It's come so far since we have last had the the chance to post and I can't wait to share all our progress with you guys! The beautiful Jack Yeates has dome some lovely work on the music for Petrichor. You can listen to a preview of it here: http://blueskybleu.tumblr.com/post/99442209441/petrichor-music-preview-forest-theme"Don't trust the owls." - ∆

Lovely graphics and I think your mix of traversal/exploration with point'n'click controls is really interesting. At least I can't remember having played something like that before. Looking forward to seeing more.

Thanks! We have put a lot of work into the game handles and believe we have gotten it to really good place.

As all said: great and moody artwork. As a point'n'click guy (AGS coder), I'm very interested to see what you'll do with the gameplay.

The very start of the game. Rain still needs lots of work, but I am happy with the how the drops look like when they hit the ground. This shows ability acquisition. You get a wet note and dry it by the fire to read it. Then you gain the depicted ability. We really don't make a big deal about it. <3

I love that the water hits the top of the umbrella. It's small but it really surprised me. I think it makes the rain feel more there and part of the world, instead of just an effect turned to because it's moody.

Thanks! I'm really curious to know what people think of how we put them together. We'll be showing more gamplay soon, as we have litterally just made the game playable from start to finish as of one hour ago! Now for lots of polish...

While the game is intentionally rough around the edges, I still like to add little details here and there. In this case however, using the umbrella to pass under streams of water is actually necessary.

Looks really nice! Music in the trailer sounds great as well. Is it music from the game?
