I don't think so, because the canon of MGS and Silent Hill is so fucking thick, you can't just say it exists in one game and just continue on your merry way. |

solid snake should end though, kojima can do new exciting things instead of old "there are five superpower people and robot and you kill them all".
silent hill went downhill long ago and american games are pretty liberal with canon.
