Especially the lower part of the city could be simplified.

Just stumbled upon this one. Interested to see where it goes. The water/sky/parallax/water-splash effects remind me of Thunder Force 4, in a good way!

For anyone wondering why I haven't been active in the past month. It's been a mixture of procrastinating and getting unmotivated, I also wanted to steer away from the game a bit to try and evaluate things myself rather than asking people for opinions, since I kind of lost that ability when I started recording my progress on social media. But luckily, I resumed working on the game a week ago. Things are going pretty good so far, added and refined some features, also changed some design choices.

I'm not sure I'll be able to keep my old weekly development logging, so instead I'll probably be posting medium to big updates, notably one that I'm working on right now involving a demo level, yes a demo level! yay finally!
I'm not sure I'll share it publicly or even share it all, I might only record a playthrough as I'm really cautious not to spoil the feeling of the game or some people might already give away their judgement/opinion about the game.

I'll see you until then  Smiley

Anything that says it takes inspiration from One Piece, Gurren Lagann, and/or FLCL just has to be some kind of awesome. I wouldn't have thought it would be a shooter though but I totally see the connections. That ocean. The speed and sense of freedom. The blat blat and the pow pow. Keep it up  Hand Thumbs Up Left

A lot has been changing in the game lately, so posting about each progress is a bit tough. Instead I’ll be making a playthrough video in the following weeks where I’ll be showing a demo version of the game, which will probably not be available publicly.

Well, we need to see more of it. But it looks promising. Anyway, I'm not an "old fan", so technically you still need to check if the ones who loved the previous version are OK with this new one. But I must insist: you should explain it and add more media to check how it works (:

Thankies! It's actually a car that can stand on different types of grounds, I'm still not certain about its design but I'm guessing it's hovering instead of directly touching the ground.
